Relax, you won’t be subjected to any of my musical efforts. Those never seem to end well.
Instead enjoy this very recent photo of a nearby piano. It took a few tries but finally the effort may have paid off in the end.

I love “connecting” art and music, so your photograph makes me smile. What musical efforts do you undertake? I’m a classically-trained pianist and my husband is a percussionist. A couple of years ago we both got this crazy idea about learning violin. Talk about “not ending well”. Oh, my goodness! Right now our violins are sitting in the music room. We’ve neither one touched them for months. I’d still like to learn, but there are so many other things I enjoy doing. Playing violin just isn’t a top-level priority. Or, I should say, learning to play violin. If I were better at it, I’d probably play more often.

My years of attempting to play piano has proven once and for all that some people, namely I, should never be allowed near the instrument. Picture a chimp trying to drive a moving van and you’ll have an accurate depiction of the results. Some folks should remain content simply being music fans in the audience.

LOL… sounds a lot like me screeching with my violin. Let’s not plan any musical jam sessions between us. 🙂
