Flashback Friday!

Seems we’re in the midst of a rainy season for sure. More often than not there’s some kind of downpour happening. It presents a challenge when I want to get painting but offers some great opportunities for photography.

Weather conditions for today – very wet indeed! But in the spirit of making the most of the situation I decided to take a photo or two just to hopefully develop those skills further.
Jury is still out if there’s been any actual improvement.
Time has been occupied with making use of all this terrific painting weather while still trying to keep up with other side pursuits and obligations. I’ve been wrestling with the idea of posting photos of works in progress but that all is similar to posting pics of a half-baked cake. It’s either finished or it’s not.
Here’s a photo taken yesterday during an excursion just as proof that on occasion I do actually lead a life outside the studio.
Nothing mysterious here folks; just the same wall I see nearby whenever doing any outdoor painting efforts. Sometimes it’s the everyday things we pass that can become the most interesting subjects.
So much can be accomplished simply by owning a cellphone camera and having way too much time on your hands.
